Special Session
7
AI Models in Biomedical Imaging and Bioinformatics
Organizer
Asst. Prof. Yen-Jung Chiu, Chang Gung University, Taiwan, China
This Special Session aims to bring together researchers and
practitioners working at the intersection of artificial intelligence,
biomedical imaging, and bioinformatics. With the rapid development of
machine learning, deep learning, foundation models, and multimodal AI,
data-driven approaches are increasingly transforming biomedical image
analysis, disease diagnosis, molecular data interpretation, and
personalized healthcare. The session welcomes both methodological
advances and practical applications of AI in biomedical imaging and
bioinformatics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to,
medical image analysis, computational pathology, multimodal data
integration, omics data analysis, clinical decision support, explainable
AI, and trustworthy AI for healthcare. The session particularly
encourages interdisciplinary studies that integrate imaging, molecular,
genomic, and clinical data to improve biomedical understanding and
healthcare applications.
